XRP ETF: Spot XRP ETFs Add $26.20 Million Friday as August Inflows Build
SoSoValue data showed U.S. spot XRP ETFs collected $26.20 million on August 28. Bitwise accounted for more than half the total while cumulative inflows reached $1.663 billion.
U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded a net inflow of $26.1964 million on August 28, 2026. The single-day figure placed the month on track for one of its stronger finishes, according to figures compiled by SoSoValue and reported through ChainCatcher.
Bitwise XRP ETF captured the largest share at $15.3981 million. Canary XRPC followed with $5.1198 million. Grayscale was the only issuer to post an outflow that session. The rest of the group contributed the balance that lifted the daily total past the $26 million mark.
At publication the five funds together held $1.439 billion in assets under management. Their net-asset ratio stood at 1.66 percent. Cumulative net inflows since launch reached $1.663 billion, extending the positive run that has characterized the product line through most of 2026.
Price context on the day
XRP traded at $1.39 on CoinGecko around 9:52 a.m. ET on August 29, down 2.3 percent over the prior 24 hours. Broader majors also finished lower, with Bitcoin at $77,697, Ether at $2,435.54, and Solana at $103.80. The ETF inflow arrived against that softer backdrop yet still ranked as the second-best August session on record.
Streak and consistency
The August performance has shown repeated clusters of positive prints. Friday’s result sits comfortably behind only one stronger day earlier in the month. The cumulative $1.663 billion already in place reflects a steady sequence of inflows that has lifted total assets without interruption from major reversals.
Bitwise’s historical total of $603 million and Canary’s $483 million further underline the sustained interest from both retail and institutional channels. Those running totals have grown alongside the daily prints that kept August on a positive slope.
Market placement
The $26.20 million figure is measured against a modest price decline in the underlying asset. That combination, inflows during a down session, has been a recurring pattern for the XRP product set in recent weeks. Observers tracking the chart note that the ETF channel continues to absorb supply even when spot prices range or drift lower.
The data arrive from the new Friday reporting window, separate from earlier prints that week. The flow underscores how the product line has maintained momentum through varying daily price action without requiring a single catalyst to sustain interest.
